Speed AND Quality.

Your grad should take place at the place you desire. While most grad shoots take place at UBC, other locations are available upon request.

Most grads take photos right after their graduation ceremony. You can view UBC's graduation schedule on the UBC website.
As grads are not allowed to leave the ceremony early, you can expect to take photos immediately after the ~1.5 hour ceremony. I will be waiting in front of the UBC Chan Centre. Please call or text me if you are unable to find me.
A select few full-size, edited photos will be available within 24 hours of your photoshoot, allowing you to post on social media quickly. All photos will be delivered within 1 week of the photoshoot.
Photos will be delivered via an online cloud storage provider, and will remain available for 1 year after the initial photoshoot. Please make sure to download your photos within this period.
Quality over quantity. A high-quality photo that captures the essence of an important moment is worth far more than a low-effort snapshot. That being said, you can expect 50+ photos from a 1-hour photoshoot.
For grads taking photos right after their graduation ceremony, UBC will provide a regalia for rental before you enter. You can take photos in the grad gown before returning it.
If you are unable to rent the regalia from UBC, or if you would like to take graduation photos on a different day, please contact me and I will attempt to make arrangements.
To secure your spot for a photoshoot, a deposit for 50% of the price of the photoshoot is required to confirm the time of the photoshoot.

RAW photos are available for an additional fee upon request.

Hi, I'm Ming! I'm a Vancouver-based graduation photographer specializing in UBC grad photos and cinematic graduation photography.
My goal is to create graduation photos that feel natural, personal, and authentic rather than overly posed. Whether it's golden hour photos at Main Mall, graduation photos with friends, or candid moments around campus, I want your photos to feel like you.
I've photographed graduates across Vancouver, including students from UBC, SFU, and BCIT, with a focus on creating a relaxed and enjoyable experience from start to finish.
